Megan Hope -2 Days

This little girl holds an extra special place in my heart :)  She is the beautiful daughter of my dear friends Shane & Melissa!  Her name means "Great Hope" and that is exactly what she gives to so many people.  Shane and Melissa held on to hope for many, many days, weeks and months that she would arrive safely and soundly and she did and for that I am so thankful.  I felt so privileged to be able to photograph her on one of her first few days home and I probably held her longer than I actually took photos of her...ha ha!  I'm super excited that our little girls will only be 4 months apart.  Congratulations S&M...I could not be more happy that your "Great Hope" is here to stay :)

Chase- 16 days

I'm loving all the newborn sessions I get to do lately!  Newborns are truly one of my favorite sessions ever.  Everyone asks how I have the patience (because they can last 2-3 hours!) but I really cannot get enough of the teeny-tininess of a new baby!  It makes me so excited for my own baby to arrive in October :)  Chase is another one of my Grow With Me clients.  He had the cutest little wrinkles on his forehead.  Welcome to the world Chase!

Stella- 7 Days

Little Stella Rae decided to come into the world 3 weeks before her due date!  I guess she was just ready to meet her mommy and daddy!!  I photographed Elizabeth for her maternity session just about a month ago.  Mommy and Daddy purchased the Grow With Me package for Stella so I'm very excited to see her grow over the next year.  She was the perfect little baby for her newborn session!  Welcome to the world Stella :)

Audrey -6 Days

I had the chance to photograph sweet Audrey back in early March.  I've been photographing her big brother Charlie for over a year now and it's so fun to watch him interact with his little baby sister!  Charlie was so loving towards Audrey and we captured some really sweet images of him touching and kissing his baby sister!  Mom & dad purchased my Grow with me package so I'm looking forward to watching Audrey grow over the next year!  Congratulations Webb family with your new adorable addition to the family!

Makenna -2 weeks

I had the pleasure of photographing sweet Makenna yesterday.  She was just 2 weeks old and had the most gorgeous silky pink skin tones.  You can see from the photos above it's just devine!  Being a mom myself, you remember those days when your child has the baby acne...ha Not Makenna though, she was flawless!

Nolan Michael-6 days

I was so excited to see Nolan, my best friend's 2nd son today!  I first photographed him in the hospital 5 days ago and was itching to have a full session with this little guy!  As a mom myself you just forget so fast how little these precious little babies are!  I know I photograph them all the time but each baby is so beautiful and unique in his or her own way.  Nolan was a snuggler and loved to have his hands by his face!  This worked great for a lot of our photographs today.  He also gave us a run for our money though towards the end of the session :)  Oh and he "sprinkled" me a little bit too...just showing me who's the boss!  I had so much fun designing Nolan's birth announcement.  Shannon was so up for non-traditional colors and I Love the way it turned out.   Congratulations again Knutson family...so happy for you all!!

Nolan Michael-1 day

My best friend Shannon, her husband Kyle and big brother Griffin welcomed beautiful Nolan Michael into the world on January 22nd around 2:45pm.  Shannon was originally scheduled to have a c-section on the 23rd, but little Nolan had his own plan!  In the wee hours of the 22nd, Shannon's water broke on it's own, I guess Nolan wanted to show them who's boss..ha!  Today I went for a visit in the hospital and of course had to take my camera with!  Here are a few photos I took on the hospital bed.  I'm excited for our "real" newborn session scheduled next Wednesday morning!  Congratulations guys, I'm so happy for your new addition to the family!!

Lauryn-Newborn

Another perfect little beauty I photographed!  Meet sweet Lauryn.  She had the most gorgeous face, like a little china doll!  She also was the first to model my new hat that I recently purchased for newborn photo shoots!  I have to say she modeled it quite beautifully!

Ashlyn-Newborn

Little Ashlyn was just adorable...as you can see by the photos.  She was so perfect at her photoshoot last week.  Once we got her to go to sleep she just let me take photos galore of her with out even flinching.  I think there must be something in the water because I've got so many newborn sessions this January.  I'm absolutely LOVING it!  I'm going to miss photographing these perfect babies of perfection in february!

William David

Little William was the 2nd of 3 newborn sessions I did this week and he was an angel.  I was so blessed this week with such great babies!  William let me move him around and we got some super sweet shots.  I just love newborn sessions because they show such an innocence of life and its really touching and exciting to be apart of that.  I truly love sharing these special moments with my clients.

Meet Guinevere

Meet precious Gwen, just 7 days old when I photographed her.  Her mom Sally is a photographer friend of mine.  She runs Gruman Photography  based out of St. Paul.

I was so excited when she and her husband invited me into their home to photograph their precious little Gwen.  Here are a few of my favorites and their baby announcement I designed. My absolute favorite of Gwen is of her smiling while sleeping...it doesn't get much more precious than that!  Congratulations Sally, I am so incredibly happy for your bundle of Joy!

Dylan - 5 weeks

Dylan was such a sweet baby and I enjoyed photographing him yesterday!   He was really content in front of the camera as long as we gave him little sips of milk along the way.  Hey nothing wrong with that!  He did great and I really love the photos of him...shows that preciousness about him that his mommy and daddy already have been looking at since his birth :)
