Amber & Russ

Amber and Russ had originally booked another photographer for their wedding.  So I felt very honored when Amber came to me a few months ago wanting to talk with me about possibly doing their photography instead.  Amber and I immediately were on the same page and I knew exactly what she and Russ were looking for in their engagement and wedding photos.  I'm so glad that they decided to book me because they were a blast to work with.  We had great fun tonight walking around Minnehaha Falls taking their engagement photos.  Russ and Amber went with an ultra casual look and it worked great... totally fit their personalities!

Andy & Julie

Andy and Julie were so much fun!  They were totally up for me dragging them all over Minneapolis.  They were absolutely great together and had a great chemistry together.  Andy loved that he got to make out with Julie and nuzzle her neck..ha ha...RAWR :)   We really had a great evening!  As our shoot ended we had these awesome thunderstorm clouds roll in.  We quickly finished up our session with some photos by Mill City.  Thanks again guys...Can't wait till your November wedding :)

Scott & Liz

Scott and Liz were married on July 5th, 2008.  They had a beautiful ceremony at St. Mark's Catholic Church in St.Paul.  After the ceremony we walked around downtown St. Paul for some wedding photos and Scott and Liz were just amazing together.  They are simply radiant on camera!  The reception was held at the University Club, Grand Ballroom, not to be confused with the University Club on Summit Avenue.  Although both owned by the same people, they are very different locations.  The Grand Ballroom had beautiful tall ceilings with glass chandeliers ...it was absolutely breathtaking!  Liz and Scott are two very special people and it meant the world to them that so many traveled from afar...such as Switzerland to celebrate their special day with them.  Congratulations guys!  It was a joy to be a part of your special day.

Josh & Nicole

Josh and Nicole are living thousands of miles apart right now.  Josh is living in Boston where he works while Nicole is finishing up her Residency to become a doctor here in Minnesota.  The plan is for her to move out there eventually :)  Josh came to MN to spend the 4th of July weekend here but it didn't come without a few bumps.  The airlines were delayed yesterday and then they lost his luggage.  Somehow though, they managed to find him some fabulous new clothes and shoes just before their session.  We bopped all around Minneapolis for some great photographs.   Josh was oh so kind to help me with some parallel parking tips...you'd think I do it a lot being in Minneapolis so much, but I actually avoid it like the plague..ha!  Thanks for your expert teaching Josh :)  My van is in one piece!!

They say distance makes the heart grow fonder and I definitely see that to be true with Josh and Nicole.  They were so beautiful on camera together this evening!

Joe & Autumn

Joe and Autumn were enjoying a few cold beer's when I arrived.  A perfect way to start out their engagement session :)  They will be getting married next May and it was great to do their engagement session today.  They are such a fun couple.  Totally in love...you can see it in their eyes and they have their own unique chemistry!  We had a great time tonight bopping around St. Anthony and Main.  The atmosphere tonight was awesome.  Lots of people, live music and a beautiful calm evening in the weather department.  Doesn't get much better than that!!!

Olaf & Amy

Amy and Olaf's engagement session was just after Jessica and Brian's.  We stuck around St. Anthony and Main for their entire session and it was gorgeous!  Olaf was a little skeptical of this engagement session thing..ha ha!  But by the end of the session, he totally got the hang of it and I even think he LIKED it a little bit :)

Brian & Jessica

One of the first things Jess said to me was "I'm So Nervous"!!  She didn't feel like she would take good pictures.   Well boy was she wrong :)  Brian and Jess were amazing together!  I scoped out some new locations before we met this evening and they were so cool about jumping in my van and running all over Minneapolis!  They live downtown and so they were absolutely thrilled with the locations.  The best part about their shoot is how fun they are!  I am so incredibly excited for their wedding because they are magical together as a couple and bring out the funny and silliness in each other.
