Kirill & Jen

Kirill and Jen were originally married over in Russia were they first met. Jen even wore the same dress she bought for their Russian wedding. They had to part ways for a while until Kirill could get his visa to come over to the United States. But finally, they were able to reunite and have a wedding with Jen's family. Jen and Kirill had a really unique wedding at the St. Paul College Club. They actually officiated their own wedding! It was very neat and a first for me! They did a monologue play about how they got married in Russia and what marriage has been like since then. It was very neat and they had the whole crowd laughing hysterically at times. They also felt it was important to incorporate some Russian traditions such as shouting cheers and congratulations in Russian and they even played a game where Jen had to feel the rear ends of young men to see if she could determine who her husband was...while BLINDFOLDED! It was quite the sight! Congratulations again Jen & Kirill, you make a beautiful couple.

Mike & Katie

Mike and Katie are wedding clients of mine for later this summer. They wanted to head to Minnehaha falls for their engagement pictures because this is where Mike proposed. They live just up the road from the falls to, so it holds a special place in their hearts. Mike and Katie were so romantic with one another. It was really fun for me to photograph them and to see them interact. They were always giving each other little glimpses and tender smiles. Oh and Mike likes to steal lots of kisses from his future bride! It's so sweet to see a couple interact like they do. Reminds us all why love is so special to have in your life.

On a Personal Note!

I not only think of my clients as people I work for but as friends as well. Many of you have been asking about my pregnancy and how I'm feeling. I'm feeling great, especially after today. We had our big ultrasound and found out we're expecting a little GIRL!! My husband thought it was a girl all along but I thought it was a boy. We are both so happy and feel blessed to know that she is very healthy inside. We can't wait to meet her and want to thank everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Above is a picture of our sweet baby girl. Of course I can't take credit for this picture! We had a great sonographer, named Bonnie :)

Jacob Andrew

Jacob Andrew was a sweet little boy to photograph. He had the soft and smooth baby skin that I just love. He was a really great baby. He let us photograph him for almost the entire hour. We put him in some interesting positions too and he just went with the flow. Although, when on his stomach I thought he may try to swim the Atlantic ocean! He was a mover at the young age of 3 weeks!

Max-6 Months

I love to photograph babies. They are so fun and each baby has their own personality. Max was just the cutest little ham! Mom & Dad had taken him to a mall place and he just wasn't happy about being there so they decided to go the home route and sure enough he was much more relaxed. Mom Micky sang the coolest bouncy song. It got Max giggling and he would bounce with her. It was so funny it made me giggle while I was trying to photograph him. Of course we did some pics with the family as well and I just had to throw in the one where Max is pulling on mom's hair. It's classic! What do babies do best? Pull hair of course :) We tried to do an outfit change but poor max was tuckered out. So we just let him relax in mom's arms...

Tyler & Heather

Tyler and Heather were married June 2, 2007. It was a warm day with possible showers forecasted. We got lucky and beat the showers by seconds for the photos. As you can see in some of the pictures the clouds look scary. However, those clouds make for some great photos! Their ceremony was held at the historic Fort Snelling Chapel and their reception was at Kozlaks Royal Oaks restaurant.

Jason & Kellie

Jason and Kellie were married Friday, May 25th, 2007. The morning was a little rainy but the afternoon turned out to be just beautiful. Their ceremony was held at St. Joe's Catholic church and the reception was at Majestic Oaks Golf Course. Their colors were black and pink and they had beautiful lily's for their flowers. Jason and Kellie are such a sweet couple. They may fool you and think that they are quiet but that's not at all the truth. I could especially get Jason going by asking him to show me his GQ smile! Overall this was a great wedding to start the Memorial Weekend!
