Made the change to Apple!

I finally changed over from a PC to a Mac.   I've been wanting to do this for some time now.  I had some issues with my PC this week and decided this would be the best time more than ever to make that change!

Here is the lovely new beauty sitting on my desk!  I think I'm in LOVE   :)

Back from Boston!!

All I can say is I LOVE BOSTON!! Wow, what an amazing trip my husband and I had visiting this beautiful city. I would say that spring is probably one of the most beautiful times to see Boston. I don't think I've ever seen so many gorgeous flowering trees. My favorites were the Magnolia trees (6th photo down).

Boston is a great walking city. Our first day we were going to Fenway park to watch a Sox game and decided to make the 1.5 mile walk up commonwealth street and it was so worth it. We got to take in the beautiful architecture and also the statues and monuments of years past.

We dinned at two amazing restaurants that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you're ever in the area. The first was a little place in the North End of Boston, often regarded as a "little Italy". The place is called Ristorante Fiore (http://www.ristorantefiore.com/). They had the quaintest outdoor dining. I think we spent two hours there just soaking in the atmosphere, sipping great wine and eating awesome Italian food! The other place we went to was called Avila. It's a Modern Mediterranean restaurant and serves things "course" style. The food here was also amazing and yet totally different from Fiore. The staff was amazing and made sure my husbands birthday was a dining experience to remember! We dinned on items such as chilled tomato soup with lobster and roasted lamb with a cucumber mint sauce! Definitely check this place out http://www.avilarestaurant.com/

The last day in Boston we squeezed in a private tour of Fenway Park, the OLDEST ballpark in the US! What a great tour, to see the park completely empty. It gave me some great shots as well, compared to when we were there just a few days before watching the Sox play.

All in all, Boston is a gorgeous city that offers the best of Architecture, Cuisine and interesting history! I look forward to a trip there again sometime!

Wedding Package Give Away

One thing that inspires me most as a human being is people who give of themselves to help others. Over the years I’ve been an avid Oprah watcher and in the last 2 months she produced a show called the “Big Give”. Watching this show really provoked me to think about how I could give big in my own life. I believe that God has blessed me with the gift of photography and I want to share that with a couple in need, and that is the reason for this post on my Blog.

So spread the news! I’m on the search for a very deserving couple!!!

Tom & Kate

Tom and Kate have got to be one of the most FUN and Loving couples around. They were so easy to photograph because they naturally just enjoy having a great time together. You can see it in there eyes. Every moment they had they would steal little looks and sweet kisses inbetween the bustle of the day. It made for wonderful moments to capture on my camera. They were married at St. Stanislaus Catholic church on April 19th, 2008. Before going to the reception at the Grand Banquet Hall we headed to Pioneer Park and Lowell Park. Talk about amazing views in Stillwater!!

James -18 Months

James Landon is just about the cutest little 18 month old around! I last photographed James when he was 3 months old http://jmphotographymn.blogspot.com/2007/02/james-landon.html

My how he has grown up into a little handsome man. He loves to be tickled and is a huge explorer. We had a great time this morning and captured some really great shots in his room. They are some of my favorite "nursery" shots ever!

David & Shannon

David and Shannon were married on the most beautiful day of 2008. It was a sunny 65 degrees on April 5th and they couldn't have asked for better weather. They hosted their wedding at the Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista, MN. Even though spring hasn't sprung yet, we took some amazing photos at this location. I'm absolutely in love with the red barn. What an incredible back drop!

Camryn & Cole

Camryn is a little sweetie. She was born on February 29th, 2008...A LEAP year baby!! Her mom Geri has a cousin that I know and she bought the session for her as a gift. I absolutely loved my time with Camryn and Cole today. They are such sweet little kids. Cole definitely loves his little sister. He showered her with lots of kisses during their photo shoot!!
