Matt & Jill

Matt & Jill are such a fun couple.  I loved working with them on their engagement session and had even more fun with them at the wedding.  We met at a park in Jordan to start our day off and we couldn't have asked for better weather.  M & J were magical together and we capture so many beautiful shots...it was nearly impossible for me to narrow them down for the blog!  I also was in love with the architecture of their church.  So many great shots were captured that day.  Here is just a little glimpse into the beauty of their day.

Seth & Lindsay

We had a very warm summer evening for Seth & Lindsay's engagement session.  We went back to the place they first met and eventually got engaged....St. Thomas University's campus.  We even went to the exact place where Seth proposed to Lindsay.  This couple is so adorable with each other, great chemistry, which creates beautiful photos!   S & L are planning a beautiful outdoor wedding in a vineyard down in Iowa next May.

Megan Hope -2 Days

This little girl holds an extra special place in my heart :)  She is the beautiful daughter of my dear friends Shane & Melissa!  Her name means "Great Hope" and that is exactly what she gives to so many people.  Shane and Melissa held on to hope for many, many days, weeks and months that she would arrive safely and soundly and she did and for that I am so thankful.  I felt so privileged to be able to photograph her on one of her first few days home and I probably held her longer than I actually took photos of her...ha ha!  I'm super excited that our little girls will only be 4 months apart.  Congratulations S&M...I could not be more happy that your "Great Hope" is here to stay :)

Bill & Krista- 2009 Wedding Give-A-Way Winners!

This weekend I had the privilege of photographing Bill & Krista as part of my 2009 Wedding Give-A-Way.  They entered my contest back in 2008 and the day finally came this weekend!  It was such an amazing day!  Lots of joy and tears were shed that this wedding finally was able to happen!  I want to again thank Christine of Christine's Floral Touch for providing free floral design to Bill and Krista.  I wish you all the happiness and joy in your future together as husband and wife!  I'm looking forward to also dedicating a FULL post to their wedding in a few weeks.

Stay tuned this week for more blog posts.  Lots of weddings to catch up on as it's been a BUSY month for me!

Ben & Meredith

Ben and Meredith were married on a sunny but very windy day in May.  We started off our day getting ready at the Marquette hotel in downtown Minneapolis.  Ben & Meredith's wedding was just a short walk away in the IDS Center.  They had their ceremony at Windows on Minnesota! Before heading to the ceremony we went outside on Nicollet Mall for some bridal party photos. Despite the gusty wind we still managed to have a fun time and capture some awesome photos! Then we headed in for the beautiful ceremony and reception.  Meredith's family did an amazing job of adding beautiful details to every corner of the room!  The reception was full of laughter and dancing...lots of dancing!  Ben & Meredith hired a few of the guys from the Shout House (the dueling piano bar) to entertain guests for the evening...what a treat!  Congratulations guys!

Chase- 16 days

I'm loving all the newborn sessions I get to do lately!  Newborns are truly one of my favorite sessions ever.  Everyone asks how I have the patience (because they can last 2-3 hours!) but I really cannot get enough of the teeny-tininess of a new baby!  It makes me so excited for my own baby to arrive in October :)  Chase is another one of my Grow With Me clients.  He had the cutest little wrinkles on his forehead.  Welcome to the world Chase!

Stella- 7 Days

Little Stella Rae decided to come into the world 3 weeks before her due date!  I guess she was just ready to meet her mommy and daddy!!  I photographed Elizabeth for her maternity session just about a month ago.  Mommy and Daddy purchased the Grow With Me package for Stella so I'm very excited to see her grow over the next year.  She was the perfect little baby for her newborn session!  Welcome to the world Stella :)
