Holiday Mini Session-Day 1

I had a great time doing holiday mini-sessions this year and cannot wait to do them again next year!  Here are a few favorites from Day 1!

Meet Guinevere

Meet precious Gwen, just 7 days old when I photographed her.  Her mom Sally is a photographer friend of mine.  She runs Gruman Photography  based out of St. Paul.

I was so excited when she and her husband invited me into their home to photograph their precious little Gwen.  Here are a few of my favorites and their baby announcement I designed. My absolute favorite of Gwen is of her smiling while sleeping...it doesn't get much more precious than that!  Congratulations Sally, I am so incredibly happy for your bundle of Joy!

Good to be Back!

I'll slowly be starting to post again in the next few weeks.  I'm very excited to get back into the blogging and I'm going to try to blog my sessions that everyone missed out on when I took my break.  I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday and I'm very excited about working with everyone in 2009!

I am deeply sorry I have to do this but for the time being I am going to be stopping my blog for a while.  August-October were BEYOND busy for me, and I simply cannot keep up with new blog posts and editing my prior sessions.  For that reason I will not be blogging any more sessions until I can catch up.  My #1 priority is to keep my clients photos on time.  

Please know that I LOVE doing my blog, its the highlight for me after every session!!  So as soon as I have caught up with my other sessions I promise to get right back to my regularly scheduled blogging :)

Andy & Julie

Andy and Julie had a gorgeous wedding in a very unique way!  During the ceremony Julie sported a beautiful floor length veil.  Andy and Julie couldn't keep their eyes off each other the entire time.  They were like two giddy little school kids...so cute!  After the ceremony Julie kicked up her heals, literally changed her heals to bright red...HOT pumps and sported a 50's inspired bird cage veil.  She was absolutely stunning!  Before heading to the reception we stopped at Julie's friends' loft in Minneapolis. It was snowing and FREEZING, but Julie is originally from Alaska so she was game for anything!  It had a breathtaking view of Minneapolis on the rooftop and we got some amazing photos there.  Then it was off to William's bar in uptown where Julie and Andy met.  Our last stop of the evening was the Varsity Theater where guests celebrated with Joy the love that these two share.  It was absolutely stunning in there and the lights just made Andy and Julie glow even more!!!

Ethan-4 Years

Ethan has the most contagious smile and giggle.  I couldn't help but smile our whole session!  I met his mom Desiree when she came to my house to help me with some family insurance.  I just love meeting people randomly like this.  It's so fun for me to be able to meet different families and capture all their unique personalities.  We had a great session!

Jason & Lindsay

Lindsay and Jason decided to head down to my studio on the morning of their engagement shoot.  Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating for the outdoor shoot we had originally planned.   We had a great session at the studio though and even headed out in the rain for a few cute umbrella photos on a nearby railroad track!  

Kadin- 18 Months

Meet little Kadin, he is a CUTIE and is so much fun!!  We spent the afternoon at my studio in Minneapolis.  Kadin had a great time with mom Erin and dad Tazeeb. He became a pro a pushing the chairs around the studio!  We also had a chance to go outside and explore the awesome rail road and brick buildings in the area.  Kadin had lots of fun exploring and we got some great photos of him.  We finished our session just before it started to rain!
