Lisa & Nathan

Lisa and Nathan were married in Waseca, MN on July 28th. I have to say that this was my first corn field wedding! Lisa's dad farms and for the wedding he mowed down part of his field to host the wedding celebration. Nathan's father is a woodworker so he build a really neat bridge for the couple to get married on. It was a beautiful warm cloudy day, which is perfect for outdoor photographing. We managed to get some creative shots even while in the middle of the corn field.

Aaron & Tracy

Aaron and Tracy were married on Friday, July 27th at 11:00am in the morning. It was my first Friday "day" wedding and it sure was a lot of fun. Aaron and Tracy love brunch food so that's why they decided to have their wedding during the day. We started out early and went to St. Anthony & Main. Aaron proposed to Tracy there and they just love to hang out there during there free time. They couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. It was warm with a nice cool breeze, which was perfect for the outdoor ceremony at the Columbia Manor. After the ceremony we headed indoors for a brunch feast including chefs from Three Sons, who made ready to order omelets!

Baby On The Way!!

Cori scheduled her maternity pictures way a head of time like most mothers thinking she had quite a few weeks to go! I got a call from her a few weeks before hand saying that she had been put on strict bed rest because she was going into early labor. Thankfully her doctor said she was allowed to get up to take the pictures. Travis and Cori are expecting their first "surprise" baby. Not many couples these days choose not to find out the sex of their child. I know that I couldn't wait! I was dying to find out as soon as possible. Cori looked great and she now will have some memorable pictures to look back on after her precious baby is born.

Matt & Jen

Matt and Jen were married on Saturday July 14th. I started out the day in Jen's hotel room with the girls getting ready. Jen was cool as a cucumber! In all seriousness she was a really relaxed bride and was just enjoying her day. After the girls were done getting ready we headed to the church, Shepard of the Lake, in Prior Lake. What a beautiful church. Matt and Jen had a private meeting out in the church's garden patio, which was just beautiful. During the ceremony Matt couldn't wait to kiss Jen and he almost pulled it off until Jen whispered "It's not time for that yet". It was a cute moment that I don't think Matt will ever live down! After the ceremony we headed to Lake front park for some casual pictures of the wedding couple and party. The evening finished with dinner and dancing at Chestnuts in Chaska.

Ryan & Jill

Ryan and Jill are not your traditional wedding couple. In fact, they wanted as little posed pictures as possible! We went to a nearby park to get some fun group and family shots that really showed the personality of each individual. Ryan & Jill traveled from Oklahoma for their wedding. Ryan is a promotions guy for an alternative radio station down in Tulsa. His job has had Jill and him in a few different places all over the US...such as Reno! However, they originally met in Minnesota at the Mermaid in Moundsview. Which is why they settled on having their wedding there on July 13th, 2007. It was my first time photographing there and it was a really neat place. Much more to the eye than at first sight!
