Olaf & Amy

Olaf and Amy were married on August 30th at the Gale Woods Farm.  All I can say is simply beautiful!  The details, colors, a cool breeze and the warmth of the sun made this day absolutely perfect.  Amy and Olaf had a very shabby chic country style wedding with hints of beautiful fall colors.  Even their meal went great with their farm theme!  Divine Swine provided a pig roast (yes we even saw the pig!) for yummy pulled pork sandwiches and all the fixins galore.  My favorite part of the day is when we went outside at sunset.  The photos are absolutely breathtaking.  Look at that lake and sunset!  Congratulations guys!

Matthew & Karren

Matthew and Karren had an evening ceremony on the lake side of Mississippi Dunes golf course.  It was an extremely touching ceremony about joining together Karren and her children with Matthew.  You could see the importance of this to all of them.  It was such beautiful ceremony filled with lots of love.   The reception was quite possibly one of the most entertaining I've photographed!  Matthew is a DJ/Karaoke extraordinaire as his profession (you can check him out at www.myspace.com/bookofmatthewkaraoke).  So he had so many great trick's up his sleeve!  The first was that he wrote a song for Karren and sang it to her himself.  It was such a touching song...AND...Matthew can really sing!  The wedding party also got the dance going when they danced to "baby got back" for their song...the best part was that Matthew actually did the rapping..again, totally blew me away!  As the evening was starting to end for me, Matthew and Karren did one final surprise...they sang a duet to the song "your the one that I love" from the musical GREASE...with leather jackets in tow, they totally nailed it!  I know the rest of the evening was just as fun for Matthew and Karren's guests :-)

Dylan - 5 weeks

Dylan was such a sweet baby and I enjoyed photographing him yesterday!   He was really content in front of the camera as long as we gave him little sips of milk along the way.  Hey nothing wrong with that!  He did great and I really love the photos of him...shows that preciousness about him that his mommy and daddy already have been looking at since his birth :)

Patrick & Sara

Sara and Patrick were married on quite possibly the most beautiful day of the year.  Not a cloud in the sky but there was a crisp breeze in the air and upper 70's.  I know the guys in tuxes were very appreciative of the nice weather.  Patrick and Sara were married at the First Evangelical Free Church in Minneapolis.  We spent most of the afternoon at Minnehaha Creek (not the same as the falls) which has large beautiful trees and many bridges.  Then we headed to their reception at Stonebrook Golf Course in Shakopee.  This place had so many great photography spots.  My favorite photo of the day is them in the grass with the sun flaring into the camera.  There is just something about this shot that shows the romance between the two of them...simply gorgeous.  I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon in California guys!  Cheers...

Charlie - 2 Years

Sweet Charlie...I've photographed him a few times over the past few years and I can hardly believe he is 2 years old already!  Where does the time go?  Charlie's mom Carrie and I headed down to St. Anthony & Main in Minneapolis this morning for an urban session to celebrate his birthday (yesterday) by taking some great photos.  Charlie looked so cute in his outfit and we got some neat photos that showed his personality and how much he's grown over the past few years.  Happy Birthday Charlie!

Katie - 1 Year

What can I say other than Katie is the cutest little girl around!  I last photographed her in March and she was so cute then but she really dolled it up today!  Mom Kari did a great job of picking out her outfits!  We spent the morning at Parkers Lake Park in Plymouth and it was a great spot for the photo shoot.   Katie also got to model one of my new tutu's this morning!  So cute!

Conroy Family

Jessica a friend of mine, also part of the Conroy clan, called me a few months ago wanting to surprise her grandmother with a gift certificate for family photos.  It had been ages since they all got together for pictures as a family.  We headed to a beautiful park in White Bear Lake today and spent a few hours taking photos.    As you can see they are nothing but a fun loving bunch and their photos truly show their personalities!
