Evan & Carolyn

You would have thought Evan and Carolyn were married on a fall day by the crazy weather we were having but in fact they were married on Saturday August 4th. It was a chilly, windy and rainy day. The festivities began at St. Olaf's Boe Chapel. It was a gorgeous setting for a ceremony and it was extra special with Carolyn's grandfather officiating the wedding. The rain had been coming down pretty steady before the ceremony but after it stopped so outside we went for the receiving line and send off. Evan & Carolyn had their guests do the old style send off of throwing Rice! It was a first for me to photograph as most churches won't allow it. How fun it was too! The rain was still holding out so we got about 30 minutes of outdoor shots before the sprinkles started to come again. It worked out perfect timing wise. Then we headed to the Welch Ski Village for the reception. The upstairs ballroom has views of all the beautiful bluffs surrounding the area and it was a great view.

Hello hello! I can't believe I never left a comment on the beautiful pictures your took of our wedding that is now over a year ago! I thought you might like to check this site out:

We had our wedding photos made into a custom designed album at a local company (I actually work there part time). Thought it might be fun for you to see your photos in this book (although other photos are thrown in as well). I know you currently use a company in California for your wedding albums, but in case you were interested in checking out a local company, go to:

As I understand it, they are the only book-making company to actually sew their binding - and they use fancy german paper as well. Their sales guy could give you the whole scoop though.
No pressure here, just thought I'd send the info your way. Happy photo-taking!
Carolyn
