I'm getting so excited because my new website is almost completed! Many, many hours of work :) I decided that I really wanted to be able to maintain my own website, so I've been slowly working on it myself, which during high wedding season is a feat in itself!!

Nick and Renee were married on July 26, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Buffalo, MN, and their reception was held at the Rogers Community Center. Nick and Renee have been together quite a few years and Renee put an awesome slideshow together to capture them growing up and their relationship with each other! Some of my favorite moments of the day were when Nick saw Renee for the first time coming down the isle. His expression is priceless and brought a tear to my eye. My other favorite moment is when Renee danced with her dad. You can see the love she has for her father and again it made me tear up! I need to start having kleenex readily available to me from now on!! Thanks for letting me be apart of your special day guys !

Noah's session was right after Sloane's today and his mom Christine is also a friend of mine from my mommy group :) However, we've known each other since our wedding planning days about 3 years ago! Noah is such a sweet baby, he is cool as a cucumber! I just LOVE the family photos from this session. Noah is a beautiful gift to his parents and you can just see the love in their eyes when they look at him and interact together as a family!

Sloane's mom Rachel is a friend of mine from a mommy group that I participate in quite frequently. Her daughter is so beautiful and I was really excited when she asked me to photograph her little girl. Sloane just celebrated her birthday not to long ago and mom and dad were wanting to document this special occasion! Poor little Sloane was fighting a miserable cold but we still managed to get some great photos. I especially love the photo of her crying, I just think it's so sweet and makes me giggle inside. Someday, all of us mommies will show our kids these photos and it will let us remember the sweet memories of this special time.

For some reason Hotmail and MSN have blocked me from sending emails to you starting this week! Nice huh? They must think my email j@jmphotomn.com is SPAM. I'm working with my web hosting provider to try and fix this problem. In the mean time, please feel free to email me with a different email address. You can also email me at jmphotographymn@gmail.com as well.

Andy and Julie were so much fun! They were totally up for me dragging them all over Minneapolis. They were absolutely great together and had a great chemistry together. Andy loved that he got to make out with Julie and nuzzle her neck..ha ha...RAWR :) We really had a great evening! As our shoot ended we had these awesome thunderstorm clouds roll in. We quickly finished up our session with some photos by Mill City. Thanks again guys...Can't wait till your November wedding :)

Scott and Liz were married on July 5th, 2008. They had a beautiful ceremony at St. Mark's Catholic Church in St.Paul. After the ceremony we walked around downtown St. Paul for some wedding photos and Scott and Liz were just amazing together. They are simply radiant on camera! The reception was held at the University Club, Grand Ballroom, not to be confused with the University Club on Summit Avenue. Although both owned by the same people, they are very different locations. The Grand Ballroom had beautiful tall ceilings with glass chandeliers ...it was absolutely breathtaking! Liz and Scott are two very special people and it meant the world to them that so many traveled from afar...such as Switzerland to celebrate their special day with them. Congratulations guys! It was a joy to be a part of your special day.
